Christmas awkwardness - Eren x reader

(E/c) glimmered at the sight of the large Christmas tree planted in the room. It still had snow that was quickly melting off because of the heat emitting from the fire place. She had started decorating the tree earlier but couldn’t seem to get any further than the midsection of it without standing on her tip toes.

Eren had passed by at a point seeing the girl struggle. He leaned against the door frame watching her attempt to reach the branches of the tree.  

“(Name), did you need any help?”

“Yeah that would be great actually.”

He strolled in and stood next to her. In a comparison height-wise, he was significantly taller than her. that’s when an idea popped in his head.

“climb on my shoulders and I’ll boost you up” he gestured to his broad shoulders. This was a disaster waiting to happen but she obliged after a little bit of worry.

Once she had managed to get on he was able to move slowly so she wouldn’t fall, but at least she was able to decorate the tree properly now. She looked down to meet his sea green eyes. Her face heated up realising they had stared at each other for a minute or so and she slipped, luckily he caught her. The only down side to this was that his face was… in quite an awkward position…

“EREN!”

“Its fine I’ve got you!” a muffled reply came from him.

“Obviously not otherwise we wouldn’t be in this position would we.” She wrapped her legs around his neck scared she was going to fall

His hands had held the thighs so that she wouldn’t be able to fall.

“what’s all the noise-

The two of them looked in horror towards the doorway where corporal stood. For the first time ever, (Name) saw him convey an actual expression: Complete and utter shock.

“Am I… interrupting something?”

Both teenagers went beet red.

“EREN PUT ME DOWN” she kicked his back with her heels.

“I’M TRYING DAMNIT!” Eren retaliated. Levi let out a long sigh before approaching the two of them. He grabbed (Name)’s leg and pulled it over Eren’s shoulder. He then proceeded to pull her off him with ease.

“tsk, if you two are going to be doing those kinds of things maybe do it in the privacy of your own rooms.” Levi walked out nonchalantly.

There was an awkward silence that covered the room. (Name) looked over at Eren, who was still bright red in the face, his green eyes wide.  She followed his eyes to where he was looking. Mistletoe.
Are you kidding me? Her eyebrow twitched at the sight of it.

“E-Eren” she looked up at him

“I guess we have to follow the rules (Name),” he smirked.

She smiled wrapping her arms around his neck pulling him into a passionate kiss.

They broke apart for air; Eren pushed his forehead against hers.

“Merry Christmas , (Name)”
